The building of our new shipyard in Steenwijk is completed.
To be able to provide an even better service, the new hyper modern shipyard will be built next to the water.
You can reach us from the "IJsselmeer", via the "zwarte water". Straight trough the beautiful province of Friesland. This trip is also called 'the standing masts strip'. With a 2.50 meters draught, all bridges are revolving or or drawbridges, this is a perfect trip for almost any ship. After you passed Giethoorn, you will reach the "Beukers Steenwijker Diep", the water our shipyard is established next to.
The new shipyard will be equiped with the best and most efficient machines any shipyard could wish for. The building of steel and aluminium yachts will take place in two halls. We can guarrantee Beisterveld will surpass himself in this new situation.
Because customers want larger yachts, the shipyard will be able to handle yachts up to 20 tons. The yachts can be taken out of the water or put back in to the water via an "insteekhaven" that was dug specially for this purpose. In combination with ABUS "bovenloopkranen" this will be a relatively easy job.
