Beisterveld Shipyard introduces its own series of stevenvletten from over eleven, twelve and thirteen meters long. Anticipating a scale model of 1:20, 2.70 meters was built. This model is an exact replica of the 13.50 meter Vlet. At this moment the casco of the over thirteen meters long stevenvlet is being built at the shipyard, the designs of the two other vletten will be defined.

The new stevenvlet is a ship that looks slim with a stretched line, a sober camber and quarter-deck and a steering gear housing with a large sliding shutter and folding doors to the wide wheel house. The ship has two sleeping cabins with full headroom, separated shower and washroom, bow- and fencing screw and prominent sea banisters.

The steel vlet has hull frames every 40 centimeters and is being built in CE-category B.
